This course is comprised of hands-on training with pig jaws and goat heads, live surgery and interactive lectures. Lectures will cover the following topics: diagnosis and treatment planning for hard and soft tissue augmentation procedures, the latest implant techniques for soft tissue management, extraction site grafting, ridge preparation and regeneration for implant placement (including vertical and horizontal regeneration), esthetic implant
procedures, sinus grafting, and interactive case discussion. Hands-on training with goat heads will cover sinus lift procedures, and hands-on learning with pig jaws will cover both bone and soft tissue grafting techniques. Completion of this course leads to an Advanced Implant Therapy and Grafting Certificate from the gIDE Global Institute for Dental Education.

This course is aimed at clinicians who are proficient in dental implant dentistry or grafting procedures of moderate complexity and wish to extend their expertise to highly complex grafting.

This four-day course will enable participants to…
– Have a thorough knowledge of the indications for several techniques of bone and soft tissue management and augmentation
– Confidently apply bone augmentation procedures in clinical practice, including sinus lift and ridge augmentation
– Confidently apply procedures for soft tissue management and augmentation in clinical practice, including soft tissue grafting and immediate implant placement
